Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for The Opal and Clinton Barrett Foundation for Rising Communities Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Academic Standing

Applicants must be graduating seniors in good standing of Oxford High School in Oxford, Michigan.

Community Involvement

Applicants will be asked to describe their contributions to the greater community through extracurriculars, employment, civic engagement, or other similar activities.

Scholarship Details

$10,000 per semester for the duration of a four-year degree, for a total of $80,000.

Application period: September 14, 2026 – March 1, 2027.
