About the Scholarship
The Opal and Clinton Barrett Foundation Scholarship is awarded each year to a graduating senior of Oxford High School in Oxford, Michigan — the hometown of our foundation's namesakes. Opal and Clinton believed that education opens doors, and this scholarship carries that belief forward by investing in students from the community they called home.
Beyond financial support, the foundation is committed to mentorship and to walking alongside our scholars throughout their college years. We look for students whose drive, character, and commitment to their community reflect the values Opal and Clinton lived by.

Mira Cline, Class of 2026 Barrett Scholarship Recipient
The Opal and Clinton Barrett Foundation is excited to announce our Class of 2026 Scholarship Recipients. Our namesake scholarship was awarded to Mira Cline. The board was incredibly moved by her dedication to community service and desire to bring good work to the world. We are very excited to support her and be part of her story moving forward.
The board has also awarded Cheyenne Frank and Emma Castonia with a $5,000 Passion to Purpose Grant, created after reviewing both applications and feeling compelled to support both of these incredibly qualified students towards their future goals.
